Our Story

The Covid 19 pandemic has no doubt changed the lives of many people, even the lives of animals. Due to most people staying home during the pandemic, wild animals came out of their usual habitats to explore the environment. That’s when we noticed the sharply increasing number of stray cats near our neighborhood. We notified animal shelters, seeking better arrangements for them, but there were far too many for the shelters to accommodate them all. Some of the cats were left out because they were too old or sustained diseases or injuries. We couldn’t bear to watch those cats suffer from the pain, so we started taking care of them. We treated their wounds, diseases, and asked friends for possible accommodation.
Among those cats we treated, an extremely skinny cat caught our attention. He was as tiny as a mouse and turned out to have FIV. We named him Woody, hoping this name could bring him strength to conquer the illness. Unfortunately, he passed away two weeks later. That was when we made up our mind to form this organization to help more feral lives like Woody. We named it after Woody, hoping all lives we help would live a stronger, loving lives with their foster families.
